If you have a taste for something sweet after Mass, then Donut Sunday is for you!
Hosted by the Men’s Club, but sponsored by parishioner-owned local businesses, Donut Sunday is a no-cost family social and Men’s Club membership recruiting event, generally held the third Sunday in September, November, January, March and May.
Kids and parents alike will find a wide-range of ooey gooey, tasty treats. Hot and cold beverages are also served with a friendly smile.
We hope you will join us after the 8:00am, 9:30am or 11:30am Mass for bite to eat and drink, and friendly conversation with your fellow parishioners.
The Summer Golf League is a big social gathering. Guys, who not only admire the Pros but believe they can drive or putt the ball just like them, show up at the tee box ready to demonstrate their talent only to be foiled by the occasional duffer who proves God’s blessing of a lucky shot wins every time.
The St. Mary Men’s Club hosts its Annual Family Christmas Breakfast in December following a 9:30am Mass. We will cook up a wonderful breakfast and there will be family entertainment, Christmas Carols and a special visit from Santa. The cost is only $6 for adults and $4 for each child and children under 3 are free (an additional discount is available for families with more than two children). Walk-ins are welcome, but purchase your tickets the week before to avoid the line.
It’s ladies night off when the men do the cooking for six consecutive Friday nights during Lent. Our famous Lenten Seafood Dinners are a big hit with parishioners and guests, who come far-and-wide to sample some of the finest cuisine to ever come out of a parish kitchen. Upwards of 1,000 meals are prepared and served each week by a crew of 75 men who volunteer for this major fundraising / service / social event.
The Men’s Club sponsors an ‘Appreciation Day’ each year to recognize the nearly 10,000 hours of volunteer service given by its dues-paying members.
Any person volunteering service hours at any of our events in the past 12 months is invited to join us for this no cost event. If you are new to the Men’s Club and have yet to contribute volunteer service hours, you may still attend Appreciation Day, but we kindly ask that you participate in the set-up, cooking, and clean-up for the event.
