The King’s Men

kingmen

“Under Christ the King’s universal call to serve, we as men, pledge to unite and build up men in the mold of leader, protector, and provider through education, formation, action and healing.”

Meetings are held every Monday night at 7:35 pm (Rm 102) to pray the rosary; to discuss a book we are reading; and to hold each other accountable for the goals to which we commit. As iron sharpens iron, so men sharpen other men.

The King’s Men invites all men of the parish to join us Monday nights at 7:35pm in Rm 102. This is our current study:

screwtape

The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis is a classic masterpiece of religious satire that entertains readers with its sly and ironic portrayal of human life and foibles from the vantage point of Screwtape, a highly placed assistant to “Our Father Below.” At once wildly comic, deadly serious, and strikingly original, C.S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters is the most engaging account of temptation—and triumph over it—ever written.
