Children's Liturgy of the Word

After the greeting, the children are invited to go with an adult leader to the chapel and listen to the Readings from the Children’s Lectionary. After the Gospel there will be a reflection on the readings. For example: the children may be asked, “What did you hear Jesus say?” The Profession of Faith and the Prayer of the Faithful follow. The children then return t the main assembly before the bringing up of the gifts and share un the Liturgy of the Eucharist with the main assembly. This program is not a teaching but a celebration of the Word with the children. It is not a replacement for PSR classes either. At this time those children grades  K-3 will be invited to participate and children, grades 4-5 are invited to help minister with readings, candle carrying or music.  Those interested in finding out more about this program are asked to call Carolyn Humston at (330) 653-6512 Ext 248
